they dont make a dipstick for the trans it takes 4 quarts if you drop the pan clean the pan and put it back drain and fill just remove the bolt and inner over flow tube is only 2 quarts so to do a flush do this

get all parts the pan gasket some gasket tac to hold it in place while you put it back its tacky stuff at the auto store.. the mesh filter the oring and make sure the old oring comes off when you remove and that its not in the pan when you reinstall it aka make sure you find it.. lube the oring put the filter back on gasket on pan back on tighten down hand tight alternating bolts when you do pull the cap for the fill tube to put new fluid in stick small screw driver in first slot theres a metal tab takes a while to get it then pull up.. also do it before you drop the pan to make sure you can refill it... then fill 4 quarts.. then drive a week then drain the pan with the bolt and inner 5mm i think allen key its the overflow and put back in 2 quarts do this till you have10 quarts or 8 is fine so 2 times after you first drop the pan use genuine nissan fluid its 25 bucks each so it wont be cheap plus other parts .. and clear the deteriation dtf time youll need a scan tool or go to the dealer for it should charge 125 for that really if you want to do this its better to take it to the dealer and do it for 600 they do it for you sad thing is they dont do it up to the 10 quarts like i mentioned above they just drop pan clean pan out etc thats only 25% of the fluid the way i told you is the right way but youll need the 400 dollar scan tool its 200 for initial fluid and there after another 200 dolalr for the rest of the fluid so your over 500 now but its done right alot of info but these cars dont use a dip stick they say to heat it up sure drive it around heat the oil up to aid in removal but really 4 quarts for the whole pan drop and 2 for each drain and fill and do it on flat surface once you do this and do it every 30k not 60 like they recomend why well nissan wants you to blow your cvt up at 26k mine was black and metal shavings the cvt loves new fluid so do it at 30k and every other service early like plugs at 30k they say 100 nope they start to wear and heat marks at 30k treat your car like gold and oyull be fine
