Rear bench Seat removal -Someone please help!

I've been trying to remove the rear bench seat for almost 5 days now. I've tried every trick in the book. I know you are just supposed to pull up on where the 2 clips are, but the cushion is just not budging. Matter of fact, the foam is starting to rip where the clips are. I even tried using some WD40 to lubricate the clips to make it easier, but that also wasn't helpful. I feel like I'm missing something. Someone please help.

I am wondering this same thing. I got seat covers for the entire car to save the seats from sun damage (I live in the desert) and for the rear seat it says "for easy installation, lift up the bench by finding the clips and giving it a yank." that was not helpful. I would like to not destroy the car.

I managed to shove a flathead screwdriver underneath the clips and I simply leveraged the screwdriver to pull out the clips. Honestly, don't even bother yanking the seats, you'll end up ripping a bit of the foam like I did. In case your foam ripped, I managed to get some foam spray glue. Thing works like magic

Thanks for the help! Much appreciated. I’ll be taking care of it next week. This week got busy. Haha.
I have been struggling with this matter for one year now. Please elaborate a little more. Underneath means shoving the screwdriver blade horizontally or vertically? Between the seat strut and the car floor sheet ? Thank you !
Still have not been able to find these clips, I know they are there somewhere and the bench acts like it wants to come off, but I still do not feel comfortable yanking on it. Very frustrating.
I'm trying to do the same thing. Anyone willing to upload a video of the seat removal?
I actually managed not only to remove the bottom seat, but as well as both of the back seats, now I have everything flat in the back and have been living here for a little! I just don’t have the seats in here to show y’all have to remove them. But i do have WhatsApp! My number there is 818-299-6676! Message me there if you’re interested in the full removal!

If you lay the seats down and lift the cloth at the bottom, it will expose the attachment bolts the bottom cushion iz clipped in place, push it back and pull up
