new tires?

I have a '23 SR, it came with the Firestone FT140's, they are pretty expensive. I drive a lot.
I remember reading somewhere that they are Low-Profile, though they don't look it. I'm thinking ahead to when I need to replace them.

1) Are they in fact low-profile?
2) Is this thing lowered or raised to accommodate them?
3) Do I need to raise of lower the car to accommodate replacements?
4) Do I need to replace the rims to use different tires?
5) What tires would you recommend to replace them, that is a standard size, so not excessively expensive, easy to get, and still looks good? (Is such a thing even possible?)

thanks

The best place to look is tirerack.com. Input car data and see what's available.

Messing with tire and wheel size can cause problems with ABS, Traction control, TPM, speedometer and handling of the car. Not to mention fitting. Type also matters. I had a 97 Acura CL and put M/S (mud and show) tires on it. Road a bit softer but gripped in snow like the original all season ones never did.

I don't remember the brand at the moment but my 23SR came with M/S tires. Is that what you have? I got the feeling that was all that was available for the Mexico production plant.

You still are missing the point.
Even at tires just being $880 -
1300-880 = 420.
So for $420 you paid to have them mounted, some fees, and you think that is reasonable???
In my experience I didnt pay more than a few buck, a few bucks not a few hundred, for the same thing. Oh yeah and my few bucks include lifetime flat repair!

880 plus 30x4 =120 plus 180 install plus 10x4 for disposal

total 1,220
i think it was 20 each for disposal.. i have to re look at my paper work..

but yes 1300

geesh man my math is right

i could of gotten cheaper tires from them they had a sale some bfgood rich or something like that buy 2 get 2 free..

but i went with the stock ones.. the more expensive ones..

my bill was more than that actually i had to program a key at a cost of another 420 dollars .. so yea

i dont understand why your going huh?
