I just purchased a 2018 Kicks SR. Grey with the orange roof and premium package. So far I love it. I moved out of a Toyota Tundra so big change there!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new car! Glad to hear you're enjoying it. Does the powertrain feel adequate enough to you? It does look a little lacking on paper.

Congrats on the new Kicks and welcome to the community. Really impressive what Nissan has delivered at this price point.

To all 2018 Kicks owners.
Pop your hood and look for the engine cover. Don't see one cup it's missing on all models.
I bought one after market since it's now even available thru Nissan. And, after opening a case with Nissan, they have agreed to reimburse me for the purchase. $95.88.

Thanks for letting the community know because odds are some lurkers that haven't signed up as yet also have the issue.
On that note it might be a good idea to create a thread dedicated on this issue.

3 year lease on a Grey with orange roof SR.
First week so far all going good.
Love how quiet it is.
Had to question saleswoman about the CVT as drove more like a geared auto.
Nissian got that sorted.
Now to add all the orange extra to the outside, mirror backs, door handles etc.
Need to take on good long run see how that fuel consumption works out.

new member introduction

Just bought a new Kicks in Santa Maria, Ca. So far it seems to be a good suv but have a few issues. One, the fuel gauge doesn't seem to update immediately after filling the tank. The reading showing how many miles until empty doesn't work right after filling the tank. The highway driving seems to be over sensive at cruise speeds above 60 mph. Maybe is quick steering gearing. My other suv is a Ford Escape and I don't have quick sensive steering. Basically, I like my new Kicks and need to put more milage on it to learn its fearures. btw, my Kicks s the standard "S" model. -- My last nissan was a Datsun Pickup. I liked it and wore it out about 200,000 miles. Hopefully this new Kicks will last that long.
