Just brought home my new to me 2021 Kicks SR. So far I love it! I was nervous of the power but she seems to get around just fine
I was wondering though. Does anyone know if the ambient lighting can be added to the car aftermarket?
it’s the only thing my car doesn’t have that I wish it did.
oh! Also! Can the 2021 SR be used withThe Nissan connect app?

I've got 12K miles on my 2019. When it's super hot/muggy and you have the A/C on full, it really makes a difference in power. Most of the time, it's perfectly fine.Hey everyone.

You CAN install the ambient lighting yourself. It's quite a project. Here's a link to the instructions.

It you still want it, the ambient lighting is a dealer installed option and can be done at the stealership. Nissan Connect. The first option I disabled on my wife's Kicks SR is Nissan Connect. My wife is a school teacher, last month at the end of the work day when she got to the car it was running, the fuel tank was down 1/4 tank. The engine had to be running for several hours. Nissan Connect was hacked. I called Nissan to not only have Nissan Connect disabled, but to also disable the data service to the car. Do a search with your favorite search engine.
Nissan Connect has been hacked multiple times. I am a system engineer, I do not trust it.

noi the connect app is not possible on the sr you need the premium version it has gps in the radio the sos button and radio speaker mods etc its like 3 grand more not worth it.. just use the stock fob or add an alarm with interface dei makes them viper etc get a pro to install itHey everyone.
