I have owned 3 Honda CRVs over the last 12 years including a similar 2017 Acura RDX. I now own a 2022 CRV Hybrid, and bought the low end Kicks on March 18, 2022. For my needs the Kicks is the better car. It gets very good gas mileage, similar to the CRV Hybrid, is convenient to drive, easier to maintain, easier to park, and should be great for bike trips for my wife and I. The only negative is no AWD, but that is offset by the easier maintenance and for us ownership of other 4th /AWD vehicles for occasional bad weather winter use. My wife and I are old, so I view the safety features common to Kicks and CRV (lane assist, emergency braking, passing vehicle indicator, etc.) to be very important.
