Howdy. I'm an owner of a 2020 Kicks SR, recently had an accident that destroyed passenger front rim and ripped out my wheel well liner and flare. As such, my collision detection system has registered an accident. I'd like to reset the malfunction myself, and pay the "stupid tax" by fixing this on my own.

Anyone else DIY'd this procedure?

Thanks for any help!

I’m not an expert at this however you can probably disconnect your battery terminals for 5 min and touch them together. If that doesn’t remove the code there’s likely a bad sensor somewhere.
