Found my Kicks running after leaving it for 1 hr

This happened today, I parked my "S" model Kicks and locked the doors. Over on a hour later came back and found my lights turned on with the engine running and the doors unlocked. Never had this happen before and not sure what caused it. This is my first car that starts without a key. I wonder if another car with remote start key interfered with my Kicks system. Who knows, But I don't like it.

I did some checking with the dealer, They think I didn't hit the engine button to kill the engine and didn't understand the three beeps after closing the door. Since my lights were on auto they came on by themselves when it got darker. Was also told I probably hit the unlock button without thinking when I noticed the lights on. I also was told other customers have did the same thing. -- Thats probably what happened. Now I know if I get three beeps after closing the door the engine is still running. By the way the Kicks engine is so quiet and very little vibration you can't tell if its running or not.
I remember when had a 2015 jeep and reading some forum sites Similar there.
Come out later to find car still running.
Most would be sure hit the button to stop the engine but I've done it parked up got out locked the car to then notice still running.
At least the Nissan bleeps if the key fob leaves the car.
Jeep doesn't do that.
Sure your find it was just a mistake on your part.
This has happened to me several times when I have been in a hurry to leave the car. The engine is very quiet and it's easy to get out without hearing that it is still on. But the biggest problem is that the radio stays on even if the engine is turned off, making it almost impossible to hear whether the car is still running. You might not notice the 3 beeps - unless you read about them in the manual...which I have yet to read two years later. My workaround: Get in the habit of turning off the radio manually, before you turn off the engine.
