So my front passenger door on my 2020 Kicks is closed and the actuator is not engaging to unlock the door and allow it to be opened and replaced.

Does anyone know the process by which one would manually force the door lock actuator to unlock the door? Is there some way I can open the housing of the actuator and use a pick and mirror to pull whatever the ball-end of the cable pulls? I have the panel removed but cannot get the actuator to disengage.

Just wanted to double check have you tried to open the driver side and it should be the same procedure or a mirror image as with the driver.

Try checking Youtube too. I have seen some videos there on how to remove the Inner Door Panel & the guy is also explaining which cable to release the door latch. If that does not work you might need to fiddle with the Actual Door lock mechanism. I hope this helps. Keep us posted.
