Daytime Running Lights issue

This is something that I'm also wondering about. I also have a 2019 Kicks SR. As far as I can figure out it doesn't have Daytime Running Lights but it does have LED signature accents located toward the grille in the headlight compartments. They are in the shape of a chevron. I've seen advertisements with them on while the car was moving in the daytime without the headlights on. As far as I know mine are off. One person told me that they are on only when one is using the parking lights or headlights. Can't get any definitive info on these "signature accents".

I researched around a bit and at least in the US where DRL are not required it doesn't have it. Even the 2020 model doesn't have it. Its cheap cost cutting.

There is a cryptic description of how to make them active in the owners manual. But the auto lights can't be used. The process is so cumbersome, I never bothered.

I know it's been a while .. but I recently got a 2019 SR, and I've been studying the user manual. It says to turn the headlight control position to "Off" to activate DRL but mine is still off when I turn the control to "Off" during daytime. Did you get it to work?

i think that the SV comes with fog light right beside the fog light should have another light turned on when car is moving .. that beside the fog light is technically ur day light . at least thats was i was told from the dealership.

My friend's Nissan Kicks 2019 (the same as mine) is driving with DRL once the engine is start at any position of headlight control. But mine's don't..
