Hello everyone,

I’m planning to upgrade my brake system and need some guidance on hose connections.

I’ve been researching different materials and designs, but I’m not sure which will give the best performance and durability.

Specifically, I want to know if anyone has experience with an hose fittings for the brake lines on a Kicks. Which types have proven reliable, and are there any installation tips or common mistakes to avoid?

Recommendations for trusted suppliers would also be really helpful.

click on brakes and then the rotors they make several drilled and sloted.. first be careful what you order this is a 3rd party meaning when you order they dont have stock they just scoure the web and find good deals and order for you and it comes to you... rockauto has been around.... so returns are a pain so know what your ordering.. with that said payyyyyy atention when ordering front rotors and rear rotors make sure it says what it is sin the listing... before you pay make sure tripple check what you order is right at 1 front left rotor then scroll down one front right rotor..

then move on to rear.. and make sure its from the same manfacture they have listings like economy and whats in that section you may find just the fronts.. but in another section performance you find the rears sdont inter mix..

i find that the rotors from r1 conecpts are the only ones besides powerstop that have front and rear.... and rabestos pads so when you click the pads check rabestoss there made in america the pads from r1 concenpts suck and ive had issues with squeeking from 2 diffrent sets the material they make from china btw failed me the company dont care about safety so i went with rabestos and just used r1 concepts drilled and sloted rotors... and they work just fine ill snap a pic of what they look like the rotors yes i had to use the company i hate but they are coated with silver or any corosion and look good... but with rabestos the pads are made in the usa and are awesome i belive its the h3 pads the ones with ceramic hybrids its gunna cost about 400 or so but worth it.. as far as brake lines id stick with rock auto if you go amazon you dont know what your getting ebay you might fare better..

as far as performance theres hardly anything theres a k and n filter for the engine.. theres strut bracing and in amazon theres green colored lowering shocks and the brakes i mentioned as far as anything else.. there are no performance mods and never will be the engine etc is just not worth it... so good luck

and youll need these if you do your brakes.. top one i belive is the fronts and bottom rears

just one kit per axle..

why well the rubber sliders wear and stick etc.. dooooooo not use any lube with petrolium distiliates...

you can use this pure silicone lube or pure silicone brake lube ive found it hard to find silicone brake elube packets the pads i mention rabestos dont come with them they used to back in the day.. your local autozon may have it i used this..

its pure lube food grade safe works fine.. just lube the sliders up and the rubber reason you need this or pure silicone fuel addatives petrolium distiliates its called is in most lubes and it swells rubber up so much your brakes will remain closed when you let off the brake and cause a ton of issues

most if not all brake pads come with lube orileys used to but im noticing not so much.. do your research before doing any upgrade or brakes etc.. know how to do brakes always lube the pads where it contacts the housing never get any lube on the pads if you do brake cleaner.. and youll need 2 cans and safety glasses youll go blind if it hits you in the eye and it hurts like ****.. anyway thats all i can give you i wanted to make a page dedicated to what i found online i will eventually on what ive used what works what dont i just cant find the time but ill try
