2018 Kicks Radio

My radio volume resets to 20 when I turn it off and back on again and when I turn the car off and back on again. It is frustrating to have to reset the volume every time. Nissan Technical Services says that this is normal. Is this really true? Anybody else having the same problem or know how I can fix it? Thanks.
