Well.. I don't really have an idea about what he's talking about but the video does give you a nice walk around of the exterior and interior.. sort of. You get to see some function of the infotainment system. This was filmed in Dubai. Can't get enough of that steering wheel though and the digital customizable gauge cluster is sweet.

Here's a white one from Car TV, could use a larger infotainment screen but everything else has a luxury feel to it.

What's your favourite part of the interior ??
Impressive interior.

Too bad it took some other brands to start with sporty interior styling for Nissan and the rest to catch on. Mazda has solid new products and design to go with it, but Nissan with its spotty reliability and dependability could have issues even with this great design.
The spotty reliability is one thing to look at but once we have warranty coverage, I'm not that worried. Getting something like roadside assistance is always a good thing to have as well in the event that something goes wrong.
So long as the warranty coverage is comprehensive then it should be find, unless you get the odd lemon that spends more time at the dealership than your garage. But the majority of Kicks should be fine. Why create a product with such a premium feel, namely the leather dash, if the rest of the car's level of quality doesn't match.

easy... because styling is an easy way to pull in the mass of buyers that don't know all the technicals and don't know where to start.
that would explain why people are still buying the Toyota C-HR when it's performance is lackluster and boring. Perhaps Nissan will give us the complete package, or at least offer us a uniform trim.
A lot of people got drawn in to the C-HR because of it's looks and how much it stands out. Really sad to hear that they just couldn't cut it in the overall picture. At least those who hated it really aren't missing out on anything?
Toyota is also a brand that most people trust. When they have been making solid SUV's and CUV's globally for so long, people naturally trust them. Compare that to Nissan and Honda. The other Japanese brands don't even rank.

Its just when a brand like Mazda comes around and does something different that Toyota isn't as attractive.
Toyota and Honda are the two brands that people trust the most, obviously reflected in their sales. Known to be extremely reliable, cost friendly in parts and maintenance, etc.

Mazda now coming with some much better products (from what I've read), they have some building up to do reputation wise in order to win people over and to show people that they have come a long way.
Here is one more quick video review of Kicks from Arabian Nissan Dealership.

Lucky for anyone living in North American looking at that video right now because often the spec offered for those countries is the same for the Americas so here we probably aren't seeing anything specific to the Middle East. The most that might be done in the future are colors but that's just about it.
If you right then we're gonna see these options for American market too:

  • Kicks 1.6 SV – AED 59,000 (USD 16062.73)
  • Kicks 1.6 SV + NAVI – AED 67,000 (USD 18240.72)
  • Kicks 1.6 SL + NAVI + AVM – AED 75,500 (USD 20554.84)

$20,000 for 1.6 SL model works well for me, it just right in terms of pricing. I hope they won't change price drastically. What would you choose?
Guys

I bought the New Nissan Kinks, to be honest with you the performance of the car is bad also the CVT response is slow

Sorry to hear that, what are you planning to do if anything? Not often have I seen people in your situation continue to be long term owners, but is it bad enough that you would consider getting rid of it?
Not sure if you can come to an agreement with the dealership you purchased it from, but if you're looking to sell the Kicks you will take a financial hit.

Bad as in there isn't enough power or did it feel slow to you? I'm not expecting it to pull like a BMW, but I thought it would be at least somewhat decent.
Even autoblog thinks its a poor replacement for the Juke. Juke did well and had an impact as positive for the brand as the Soul has been for Kia. Maybe all this time Nissan just had to make small incremental changes instead of an entire switch.
I would agree that maybe another engine should have been offered, but, probably it would have been offered ONLY with the CVT and I have a manual ... But, one never knows
