Hey,
I'm new to this community so I thank you all for your welcome. In the past I upgraded an MK4 2.0l VW golf from 15" to 18" wheels achieving a great handling improvement just with that, no change to suspension or anything.
Nowadays I have a 2018 SR bought brand new from the dealership which is going to need new tires soon so I'm wondering if someone here has ever think about giving a sportier look to his/her ride with a bigger wheel set? I think there is enough space for 1or 2 extra inches in the wheel wells.

I've got 18x8 shod with 215/45R18, rides better than my wife's shod with OEM 205/55R17 or stepson's 205/60R16.
The size difference is -0.3% and lowers the vehicle by an astonishing 0.8mm, carefull on those speedbumps.
Yes, it's got tinted all around, medium tint on the sides, light on windshield. Tried painting the chrome(I hate chrome) and think didn't do a good prep job, since, it all has been fixed!

If you want to use 19", I would recommend 215/40R19 with a difference of 0.4%, so when traveling 100km/h on the speedo, you will actually be going 100.4km/h therefore also adding 0.4km to the odometer and every 10kms adding an extra 4kms to the total mileage!
