wheel rotation & TPMS

For the 2018 model, does the TPMS have to be relearned/reset after a tire rotation? I hate going to the stealership everytime I do this maintenance. Also, would the PCM know the new location (or old location) of the wheel after rotation. I already own a lot of tools for Ford since I am a technician for Ford, I don't feel like spending extra money for another expensive tool for a TPMS reset.

If you dont reset the positions, then it will tell you the wrong tire is low. If you just keep track of them, then it wont matter.

No it will relearn the new position the next time the vehicle is driven over say 10 km or what ever that is in miles.
It can work out the position of each wheel.
When I swap from winter rims to summer rims they go on in any position then the car works out the position and reports the tire pressure in there correct location.
